  • Personal Autism Blog

  • Welcome to the personal autism blog at Autism Epicenter. This is a digital online diary (and more) written directly by parents of children with ASD as we deal with the triumphs and challenges of raising children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Two people post here, both parents of different families, both dealing with autism.

With this blog you are gaining access into a whole new world. If you're parenting a child with ASD yourself, then you can relate. If you're not, maybe this will help you gain an understanding of what parents go through. Either way, welcome to our world!

I can relate to this piece!Terin has zero concept of time. I know how frustrating that can be. As for the fits, we also have those behaviors at my house. Some for good reason and others not so necessary. I understand the rage filled calmness you are speaking of. It is a terific trait to have and you are truly blessed. We pray for braden often! You are a super dad!

Ah Shane I so understand that one. I have experienced it on more than one occasion and I must admit when I hear he did it to dad his very best friend I realize he never really disliked me at all. He was loving me just like he loves you and Anne.

I got battered that day like Red Lobster's beer battered shrimp. Love hurts sometimes.
