No More Chopped Liver!

I hate liver. I don't like the smell of it, the texture of it, or the way it looks. In fact, I quiver at the sight of liver. I'm not putting it in my mouth no matter how many slices of onion hide the flavor. I don't even want to be near it.
For the last several weeks I have been chopped liver. My son, Braden, has wanted his Mom to do everything with him or for him. But that all changed a few days ago when Braden called me to play Thomas Lego's with him.
Follow up:
The funny thing is that I've asked Braden on and off if he wanted to play Thomas Lego's. He kept saying no. He has had no interest for the past several months. And now he loves it again.
I'm the man in charge of building the track. And the track always has to have a bridge or two. Now it has to have a ramp and the track can't just be circular. He wants it more complex. At some point Braden wants to have an end of the line. That's for crashes. No, the end of the line isn't for stopping, it's for crashing into whatever has been placed at the end of the line.
Over the past few years Uncle Dominick has bought Braden (Who has Dominick as one of his middle names) Thomas Lego's, Duplo size for Christmas and his birthday. So now Braden has several sets of Thomas Lego's. He has many engines including Thomas, James, Percy and more. He also has a couple bridge kits, extra track, some stations, and even Cranky. And Braden doesn't want Mom to play Thomas Lego's with him, just Dad.
It's nice because it's father:son time. But since I've been chopped liver for the past several weeks it's extra nice to be wanted now. My son needs someone with that engineering instinct that Mom lacks. I don't mean 'engineer' as in one who operates a locomotive. I mean 'engineer' as in one who designs and constructs things (and occasionally gets to operate the train too!) Chooooooooo Chooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!
Ahhhhhhhhhh, it's good to be Filet Mignon again!
