  • Personal Autism Blog

  • Welcome to the personal autism blog at Autism Epicenter. This is a digital online diary (and more) written directly by parents of children with ASD as we deal with the triumphs and challenges of raising children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Two people post here, both parents of different families, both dealing with autism.

With this blog you are gaining access into a whole new world. If you're parenting a child with ASD yourself, then you can relate. If you're not, maybe this will help you gain an understanding of what parents go through. Either way, welcome to our world!

So glad you had a fabulous holiday season! Looked like your Oregon trip was a blast as well. Terin's prize winning gift this year was a Harley davidson scooter with back brakes his "grandma" searched out. It was large enough for his weight and height yet didnt have all the high tech bells and whistles that come with the size. He actually expressed excitement when he saw it. This was a huge gift in itself. He doesnt get emotional about things, with the exception of things he doesnt like (tantrums) Hope this year brings great strides to the Nurnberg's adventures.

I am so glad Braden is getting enjoyment out of his RC Car, this makes me feel so good. When I saw it I immediatly thought of the two of you spending hours of enjoyment together, and it looks like that will be the case! Next stop will be Costco for some more batteries. Enjoy!
