Top Gift According to Braden

Gifts were given, smiles were seen, and God was glorified. And then 2010 arrived. Maybe this year will be a year without autism? Fat chance!
Well, although Christmas is not about gifts (or Santa Clause), the verdict is in regarding which gift was the biggest hit with my son this year. And yes, I've included pictures.
Follow up:
I thought for sure we had Braden's number this year with the Leapfrog Didj and games for it. It takes a big man to admit when he's wrong, and I am not a big man. I think the Didj requires more finger movement and understanding than my son is ready for at this point. Right now he could care less about the Didj, unless I happen to play it. In that case, he'll watch me. But I already know how to spell "pal" forward and backwards.
The most popular gift this year is Braden's new radio controlled race car. See pics below.

This is the first RC car Braden has had that uses a pistol-grip controller. He doesn't much understand the standard thumb controller other than how to make a car go. It's too difficult for him to operate forward/backward while simultaneously using his other thumb to control left/right. But the pistol-grip controller has a trigger for the accelerator and a little wheel for the steering. To my surprise Braden grasped the concept right away.
Cousins Eric, Candice, and little Hunter get the award this year for the best gift. Being his Dad, I thought I knew exactly what Braden would love. Well, I should've bought him an RC car. Now I got a great excuse to get him (and me) a great remote control monster truck in the future! Thanks Hunter!!! Braden's having fun! And you've opened up the door.
